I managed to get to Shin-Osaka with the rapid service train that stops at my station every workday 6:03. I met ReLe and Yonster at the Shinkansen hikari platform. From there we continued to Tokyo. The trip lasted about 3 hours and I was a sleep most of the time and music was playing from my PSP so I didn't react to anything unless I happened to wake up. However, I did manage to see the Fuji mountain from the train window on the way.
We met Miho at Tokyo station around 10am and she took Yonster to clothes shopping(I was so tired that I almost fell asleep while waiting for them outside the shops). We also went for dinner at Shakey's Pizza(Weird fillings in pizzas... Banana-choco pizza, Seaweed-tomato-beef-mushroom pizza, etc.) All-You-Can-Eat buffet. After this we headed for the place I had been waiting for: Akihabara!
We took some local JR lines to get there(unfortunately I didn't catch the names of them or then I was just too tired to care).
I was totally stunned when I entered the first street in Akihabara electric city. Walls full of anime-characters and dozens of shops selling anime, manga, computer, consoles, you name it, etc.
It was like a completely different world from where I was living.
We toured around the place and got to see many interesting things(also few very scary things like the Otaku Hentai corner in many of the manga and anime shops).
I also bought some headphones from one of the computer stores. We also visited Yodobashi-Camera of the district(I bought one game from there) and ate soft-ice at on of the cafés(this is whe I noticed that my headphones had only 0,5m wire).
After Akihabara we went for Ginza shopping district. First thing we went to was the Sony building and I found some very good earphones at a reasonable prize(around 3000円). ReLe bought some noise-cancelling headphones from there.
After this we went for more shopping and then Miho took us to eat spaghetti at Cafe Tomato in Tokyo station. Then Miho said good bye and we went for the Shinkansen.
ReLe took most of the pictures so he can post them later. Here are my shots of the day:
One of the many Marketplaces we visited in Tokyo.
