On monday morning we met Miho and Katsue at Bentencho station at 10am. From there we went straight to the Kaiyuukan(Aquarium).
We went there by subway and Katsue managed to buy us tickets that let us ride the subway all day and also get in to the Kayuukan and get discount from the ferris wheel(Tempozan).
Kayuukan aquarium was basically a big place full of water and sea animals(fish, seals, etc). The tour of it started by going up the escalator to the 8th floor and going down from there gradually.
This created the possibility to see the animals on the surface by themselves and later under water with the fish. We saw a lot of animals we had not seen before(even monkeys).
Some lady interviewed us in there but we could not understand what she was saying so Miho and Katsue combined their english skills and helped us with her.
Cool spider crab
After the aquarium we went to eat.
First Kitchen hamburgers were the choise for me, ReLe and Yonster, while Miho and Katsue preferred Japanese food.
After dinner we went to ride on the Tempozan ferris wheel and we saw most of Osaka central from there.
My wicked cool new sunglasses (I broke my other ones)
Yonster wanted to try them on too :)
Water monument or something in front of the aquarium.
After this Miho and Katsue took us shopping. Later on Miho had to leave for Tokyo so Katsue continued the tour and showed us Den Den Town(nippombashi).
Den Den Town is a sort of a sanctuary for otakus. Cheap electronics, models of anime and other characters, lot of adult DVD shops and Maid Cafés.
I bought PSP from there but I couldn't get any money out from the ATM with my VISA so I had to leave the games for later on.
After this we went to look at the Umeda Sky building and on the way Katsue had to go. Thank you Miho and Katsue for patiently guiding us trough Osaka!
After Katsue left we travelled to Umeda station via JR-lines and searched for the Umeda Sky building but we did not find it. After searching for a while Yonster went shopping and me and ReLe went to KFC for chicken.
Thats pretty much it.
I bought this Naruto shippuuden model from one of the shops
Tuesday morning I woke up to MacGyver music at 4 am and pushed the snooze up until it was 5:30. I boarded the rapid train for Shin-Osaka and met ReLe and Yonster there. From there took shinkansen to Nagoya and continued to Takayama with Hida nro.1 Express train.
From Takayama we went to Shirakawago with a bus. We accidentally went after the chinese tourists and ended up in the non-museum area of the village. We actually thought that it was the actual museum part.
The whole area is protected by Unesco world heritage so we couldn't tell. After touring around in the non-museum area we headed back for the buses and found out that the actual outdoor museum is right next to the bus stop. We just went to the wrong way.
Here we are posing at the wrong gate.
I wanted to express what I thought this place represented or something.

Cool rock-garden-thingy
At the end of the day we were really dissapointed that we went after the chinese tourist groups. They apparently had no idea where to go or what this place was all about. We should have gone to the actual outdoor museum from the start. ReLe went there for a quick look and he has some pictures of the place. It looked so cool.
Well, such is life.

You could go to Shirakawago yesterday. That was good! I was worried about that.
Thank you very much. I had a good time in Osaka and you gave me a good opportunity to meet Katsue and Ikuko again:)
Looking forward to seeing you again in Tokyo!
